I am so happy for the both of you. If it works out...fingers crossed....I have a ton of baby equipment and clothing (boy and girl) I would be more than glad to pack up and bring to your house. I have NO room! Please keep me posted this could turn out to be the greatest Christmas present ever!

Hey Sweetie,
I am so proud of you! You are going to be a wonderful mother however it happens. I am actually feeling a little selfish in that I know a ton of people having babies the "ordinary way", but you guys are the first couple I know who will be adopting. I'm so excited to be a part of this experience with you. As you know, if Bryan and I decide to become parents, adoption will be our option as well. I look forward to taking part in this with you. I am so proud of who you have become in this whole experience. You have chosen to rise above the 'not-so-nice' thoughts and feelings. Domestic adoption through foster care is another option! It costs NOTHING! Our oldest three came through the foster care system here in Lancaster County. They were 6, 4, and 1 when they moved in with us. NO adoption is perfectly smooth sailing!! This was challenging but worth every moment! Also, there is an adoption credit for your taxes - up to $10K(ish). Also, there are grants available online!
